Withdrawal Policy

Nigerian Journal of Science and Environment (NJSE) is concerned about the withdrawal of manuscripts after submission. Hence, the policy on withdrawal is critical for authors. It is mandatory for authors to follow the publication and plagiarism ethics of NJSE.

It is deplorable to withdraw a manuscript from a Journal for the reason that it is being accepted by another Journal.

🔍 Before submitting the manuscript, authors should cautiously check the facts and data presented in the manuscripts are precise and without errors.
✍️ All authors including corresponding and co-authors must confirm the number of authors, authorship, approval and integrity of the manuscript before submission.

📋 Withdrawal Process

  • A manuscript can be withdrawn at any phase of review and publication process
  • Submit a request letter to the editorial board stating the reasons for withdrawal
  • The request letter should be endorsed by all co-authors
